Join your friends and neighbors for an evening of Euchre, with prizes, followed by sandwiches, beverages and home baked treats. This is one of our main fund-raising events. Some people make additional contributions at this time, all contributions are greatly appreciated! Brooklyn Fire & EMS Associations are 501 (c)3 compliant. Proceeds from fund raising events are used by the EMS and Fire departments for training expenses, meals for personnel during emergency situations and to support public education for Fire and EMS in our community. In 2018 Brooklyn EMS Association is raising funds for new CPR Manikins. We also used these funds to promote and teach our Rescue Kids classes and provide CPR classes for the public.
In 2018 the Brooklyn Fire Association is looking to raise money towards our new (SCBA) air tank breathing systems. These essential pieces of firefighting equipment allow us to breath longer periods of time inside of structure fires, and also upgrading some of out brush fire equipment used in combating wild land fires.
